Wonder Woman has had rave reviews since its release and it looks like the DC universe has a hit on their hands. Recently Katie Couric tweeted out that Wonder Woman star, Gal Gadot had a message for Chris Hemsworth who plays the Norse God, Thor, in The Avengers.

The message resulted in a series of tweets where even The Avengers star agreed with the comment.

To which she replied:

But what does this mean? Could this ever happen? Well, it’s not unheard of. Back in the late 1900’s a series of comics pitted the Marvel Universe against the DC Universe. This series resulted in battles between Superman vs. Hulk, Batman vs. Captain America and yes, even Wonder Woman gets in on the action when she battles Storm from the X-Men (a battle that she lost, btw). Whether this series is canon now that Disney owns Marvel is yet to be seen.

But who would win in a battle between Thor and Wonder Woman? Well, it’s hard to say. Over time, Diana’s origin story has slightly changed but one constant remains: she is a demigoddess. Now, in general, only Gods and can kill Gods and although Diana is a demigoddess, at one point she becomes the new God of War, so that make her a full time God? Also, Wonder Woman is one of only a handful of people to actually wield Mjolnir (she was wielding it during the Marvel vs. DC crossover where Storm beat her after she dropped it stating that using it wouldn’t be a fair fight). These days Thor is not the God he once was having lost Mjolnir (after the death of The Watcher) he has been a quest to find himself again. Since then Dr. Jane Foster has taken on the role of Thor. So would Wonder Woman fight female Thor? It’s difficult to say if this Marvel vs DCEU cross-over would ever happen again but if it did, who do you think would win? Leave your comments down below.

Below are some photos of the food we recently tried:

Obviously Nachos: (based on Drax) blue corn tortilla chips, chicken, red pepper cheese sauce, chipotle crema and green onions.

The Most Dangerous Tacos in the Galaxy:  (based on Gamora) these green tortilla tacos have spicy barbacoa beef topped with green onions slaw and habanero salsa.

The Milano: Fanta orange soda mixed with a blue cream.

Of the two food items the nachos were the winner for taste. The nachos were very tasty and had a good kick to them. The spiciness wasn’t unbearable but just enough if you don’t like your food to be too spicy. The tacos were a bit disappointing. Although the tacos didn’t taste bad they did lose some points because the tortillas were a little hard and felt like they had been sitting there for a while. Otherwise they had a decent flavor but we would have liked to taste more of that distinct barbacoa flavor. The Milano is amazing! If you love orange cream soda (or similar flavors) this is your drink!

Until next time! °o°
