Our featured topic was the overhaul of Disney California Adventure. Since then many things have changed and have begun to shift into what we may one day know as “DCA 3.0”. What are some of your favorite memories from the reimagining of DCA that brought us changes like Buena Vista Street and Cars Land? Let us know in the comments section below.
In this week’s episode you jump into a conversation we were having about some of the shows that we watched when we were younger. One of the shows on public television that came up was 3-2-1 Contact (a show that Melissa has never seen). Some of you may have seen it but may not remember, it case you want to try to trigger a memory, here’s the theme song.
On of the recurring segments was one with “MathMan” solving different math puzzles. Here’s one of the clips. If you remember this show leave a comment down below!
The Legend of the Archives
This week we said goodbye to Disney Legend, Dave Smith. Dave was an amazing person who worked diligently to preserve the history of the Disney Company in a time and in an industry that generally did not care about preserving their legacy. Dave will truly be missed. Our deepest condolences go out to his friend’s and family.
If you’re interested in purchasing some of Dave’s book, you can check them out below. Please note that these are affiliate links and we may earn a small commission from your purchase.
In the last episode we talked about Purl one of Pixar’s new “SparkShorts”. Although we didn’t get a chance to talk about the next release Smash and Grab in this episode (we’ll be talking about it in Episode 245) we wanted to post them to give you an opportunity to watch them and share your thoughts. You can leave a comment below and let us know what you think about the shorts.
