Ep261: Armchair Imagineering (Parades)

Jun 19, 2019 | Armchair Imagineering, Podcast episode, Podketeers

In this episode: This week we talk about a surprise trip Heyzen had for Father's Day, we talk about the changes to the Main Street Cinema at Disneyland plus it's armchair Imagineering time as we attempt to come up with new parade concepts!

Pretty short blog post for this episode. Below you’ll find a couple of different versions of the Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights! Like we mentioned in this episode, it’s an amazing parade (we kinda wish they would bring it here for a short time)!

Super bummed out to hear, from you guys, that the Main Street Cinema has become another retail spot. Before becoming a cast member, I constantly went there because I am a huge b/w fanatic! Its a different aesthetic and its magical! I spoke to another CM that if the company is worried about sales, they should stop blocking the CM out of the parks. Although we can go in an out as we please, we are the ones who SPEND in the parks due to not having to pay a pretty penny for admission. I know I go to spend time with my husband and we do alot more people watching than anything. But in the end, they always lift our block outs because I personally feel like they know we are the big spenders. Lol.

    Just my 2 cents!
